Women Under 30, Most Births Occur Outside Marrige

It spoke of its normal now a day for children to be born to an unmarried couple. Its states in the article that " More than half of births to American women under 30 occurs outside marrige" when i read this fact i was complete shock but then i thought that its very true . Because today you see young mothers doing there own thing out here with no help or support from a husband,baby father, or even boyfriend .this article also states that motherhood without marriage has settled deeply into middle America. When i see stuff like that i feel sympathy for the mothers because i know its hard times out here. But the again i feel ashamed , like us ladies should be out here living it up to the fullest. When reading this i began to wonder if this is the rate of white women in there 20's then whats the rate of African Americans in there 20's. I think that when my mom and dad got married and had me and my two other sisters it does effect us in a positive way . Its two individuals who support us together . But i mean other may not think that having a mother and father in their life effect them. It may even just depend on the Independence of the mother or father . I mean you could learn the same amount of having a mother and father as if you you did a mother. but as Frank Furstenberg said "Marriage has become Luxury " The shift effects childrens lives .
